About this tour
The Xanthos river runs through Patara National Park and flows into the Mediterranean sea after 50 km. it is one of the shortest rivers inTurkey.
We travel 15 km. of these 50 km by canoe. During these 15 km. we make four stops (mud bath. swimming, lunch and a one-hour stop on Patara Beach.)
Our experienced guides will give you all the information you need before you leave and support you throughout the day. Along the river you can see many types of birds, turtles, frogs and other wildlife.
The lunch menu is chicken shish kebab, rice and salad.
The river is not dangerous and you dont need to be strong as for much of the journey you will be taken along by the flow of the river. It isn’t necessary to be able to canoe as you can learn with the help of our guides.
